Your candle has been handmade with love and care to help restore your mind, body & soul so please take a minute to read these important instructions.
The first burn MUST allow the melt pool to reach the sides of the jar, this may take 2-4 hours so please ensure your going to be home for a while when you first light your beautiful candle. Once you have done this, you can burn your candle to quickly freshen up the room if you need. This is because the wax has a memory, failure to do this may result in a well.
Maximum burn time should be between 3-4hrs as your candle is so rich in essential oils.
As our wicks are 100% cotton and lead free, they don't have metal running up the middle like most candles. Therefore it's really important that you keep your wicks trimmed to 1cm before each burn. When your wick gets too long it cannot draw wax all the way up to the top of the wick, therefore the wick itself will start to burn and this is when you start to get excess soot, it may also start to lean over to one side creating an un-even burn and may end up falling into the candle wax.
